Meets the 1st Monday of the month (except
when there is a holiday, we meet the 2nd Monday). We
gather for prayer to build up the body of Christ here at
Meadowbrook. Prayer requests and praises are shared.
Women's Retreat -
The women of Meadowbrook are invited to the
Women's Retreat at Wolverine Camp on Sept. 10-11.
There will be Bible studies and plenty of activities.
Paula Lackie will be the guest speaker. Paula's
husband, Todd, is the minister of Kenwood Church of Christ
in Livonia. The cost is $45. Please see Linda
Tingley or Andrea Schwartzenberger if you're interested in
attending.

Men and Women meet every other Wed. at 7 p.m.
for Bible study.

Activities take place throughout the year.
Sisters in Service (SIS)
This Women's Group meets the
4th Monday each month at 7 p.m. Meetings always include a
devotional and refreshments, followed by a project or
speaker.
Our Women's Group, Sisters in
Service, has cookbooks for sale of recipes submitted by our
women, men, family and friends. They are only $10.
Call the church office to inquire about making a purchase.
First meeting
of the new season will be on Monday, Sept. 27. We'll
meet at 6:30 p.m. for a Salad Supper - all ladies please
bring a salad to share. The meeting will begin at 7:00
p.m.
Men and Women meet every other Wed. at 7 p.m. for Bible
study.
Men’s Fellowship Breakfast
Meets the 2nd Sat. at 8:30 a.m.: Jan.9,
Mar. 13, May 8, Sept.11, & Nov.
13, 2010.
Our men meet for breakfast and fellowship
where a lesson and prayer time is shared. We desire to see
our men grow strong in the Lord and to be good examples as
husband, father, or son in their families.
Guests are welcome.
Rehearsals take place every Tuesday night at
7 p.m.
Worship Leader & Praise Team Director:
Randy Gilbert. Our praise team leads the worship
service on Sunday mornings. This group of volunteers love to
sing, play instruments and worship Christ. They meet to
prepare for the Sunday service and learn new music to
enhance the worship experience.
Choose from one of three groups that meet
every other week at 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursdays
and the 1st and 3rd Fridays.

F – Fellowship, sharing E – Encouraging
L.I.F.E.
Groups are location-based small groups facilitated by
co-leaders and hosted by members of the congregation. Groups
meet for a time of Bible learning, prayer and fellowship
with the goal of bringing people to maturity in Jesus
Christ. Currently three groups are meeting: one in Rochester
Hills every other Wed. at 7 p.m.; one in Rochester Hills
every other Thurs. at
7 p.m. and one in Shelby Township at 7:00 p.m. on the 1st
and 3rd Fridays.
Periodically, a 6-week "What We Believe"
class is taught by Pastor Steve Martin for anyone
considering church membership or wants to know more about
Meadowbrook. The class will look at church essentials,
some history, communion and baptism, church involvement,
God's plan, and the Bible. A
class is currently in session.
