books with everyone's favorite recipes to be shared with all
of our friends. Now we want to put together a cookbook
of all of our favorite recipes. We already have
100 recipes, and now we need 100 more - from you guys as
well as from the gals! Get out your favorites and
either e-mail them or hand them to Kathi
Tope by Oct. 31. Her e-mail address is kmtope@wowway.com.

ALL GROUPS ARE STUDYING
MATERIAL FROM "THE TRUTH PROJECT."
Choose from one of three groups that meet every other week at 7 p.m. on Wednesday
and Thursdays and the 1st and 3rd Fridays.
L – Lights in a dark world
I – Investigating God’s Word
F – Fellowship, sharing E – Encouraging
L.I.F.E.
Groups are location-based small groups facilitated by
co-leaders and hosted by members of the congregation. Groups
meet for a time of Bible learning, prayer and fellowship
with the goal of bringing people to maturity in Jesus
Christ. Currently three groups are meeting: one in Rochester
Hills everyone other Wed. at 7 p.m.; one in Rochester Hills
every other Thurs. at 7 p.m. and one in Shelby
Township at 7:00 p.m. on the
1st and 3rd Fridays.
All groups are currently in a study of "The
Truth Project." A time for prayer
brings members closer to Christ and to each other.
Fellowship is also an important element of the evening for
members to share their concerns and joys with one another.
Various Schedules. The 20-30 year-old
Peer Group and over-30 year-old Peer Group holds various
social functions throughout the year. Check the calendar for
upcoming events.
Meets at 9:30 a.m. Two adult classes
are available for those interested
in an in-depth study of the Word of God. Also, a 6-week
Discipleship class is currently being taught by Pastor Steve
Martin for anyone interested in learning more about the
Christian Church.
